Books

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros

I found this book interesting. There's magic and dragons, what can I say? The dynamic between Violet and Xaden kept my attention, which is a very weird bar. Romance is not something I'm really looking for in my books and sometimes it leaves me rolling my eyes even if its well written. Just aro things. The world being built was also interesting and I liked that it wasn't shying away from being critical of its government structure. I love a good bit of rebellion.

Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros

Iron Flame on the other hand. Left me bored and annoyed more often than I found myself enjoying the book. Violet and Xaden's dynamtic began to feel samey. Conversations were trite and tiresome when they weren't fucking. The plot began to feel extremely padded and like it was playing romance trope bingo. Bleh.

Manga

Dungeon Meshi

I binge read all of Dungeon Meshi in 3 days. It completely took me over. I'm obsessed with that quirked up white boy. Such and wonderfully build world and finely crafted story. I loved pretty much every character that walked onto screen in some way or another. I'm so normal about Dungeon Meshi. Yes, I'm one of those people who thinks about Senshi sometimes when thinking about what to eat.
