this was something experimental for me to work through somethings going on in my head and also to get more comfortable with my art being imperfect? in a way. Not in the way that I think my art is perfect but in the way that perfectionism is a disease and trying to get good enough to do the thing in your head will prevent you from ever doing it. yknow?

The set of agents! I had intentions of doing more with themm which would help to explain bits of their bios. I never did that at the time, but the ideas are still floating around in my brain like a fine soup. Tristan's easily supressed limiter is just how I took what the fallout of the goo would be since Marina mentions something about a limiter during the Octo Expansion fight against Agent 3. The pount about not doing solo missions is a response to how young agents tend to be and how badly some of them have gotten hurt. Having people watch each other's backs is a good thing in their eyes. I did forget to mention on the card that their depth perception is pretty shot due to the effects of goo eye.

Here's the time I wrote Miku's name in as Dakila. Again I filled in a bullet point with the intention to elaborate in other means. Miku questions Marie's orders because the two did not get along very well. Mainly Dakila disliking the way Marie spoke about Octarians even if they did steal the Zapfish. They had a lot of questions for why the Squidbeak Splatoon is acting the way they do. Some of their actions seemed really questionable to Miku in hindsight. Stealing power from people who were without. Raiding areas that looked civilian. Knowing that some kind of mind control seemed to be involved. Things would end up going differently for their dynamic compared to canon.

Briar <3 originally and octosona for myself, I developed him into a proper Agent 8 sometime after the DLC came out. I guess I'll probably be changing her some more after Side Order drops, whenever that is. I wanted Briar to have an active role in changing the New Squidbeak Splatoon into an organization that was less, obsessive, about everything that Octavio was doing and more oriented on helping Octarians and keeping an eye out for threats in a wider range to do more good helping people. I also really hate how Marie and Craig are openly hateful to Octarians unless there's some exception. Like an Octoling has to prove themself as worth their time. And Briar is that the loudest of any of these OCs.

I spent so long scrubbing through the trailers and trying to figure out how hairs and eyes looked because this was most of a year before the game came out lmao. My Neo Agent 3 doesn't even look like this anymore... I need to draw my agents again :').

Fursona :3 some elements of her will always be tweaked or able to be messed around with. Like the size of the wings. and the length of the horns or antennae. Who give a shit

Hellion returns! Refined the design and color palette. Still wanna work in more of the scenecore so its a little less just neon rainbow brite. A guy on reddit didn't understand that the music notes in the background are backwards on purpose and just kept reiterating to me that they were. I don't use Reddit anymore.
